MEET DR. KRAMER OF BRIGHT DENTISTRY

Dr. John Kramer

John Kramer, DDS has been in the dental field for over 12 years. Starting as a dental lab technician in the United States Air Force, he fabricated the veneers, crowns, and dentures for soldiers. This is where he found his love for both dentistry and The Springs. It’s also where he found the love of his life, Courtney, who is a veteran of the Air Force as well. While both life and years of medical school have stood in the way of the Kramers calling Colorado Springs home, the couple has finally made their way back after 10 years and are thrilled to be planting their roots in the Rockies.

Dr. John Kramer - Colorado Springs Dentist

Dr. Kramer grew up around dentistry. His father was an Air Force dentist so it only seemed natural to follow this career path. But it wasn’t until he was in the Air Force Academy that he discovered his passion for transforming lives via oral surgery. “There was a girl who lived in my dorms that came into our offices.” Dr. Kramer recalls. “We gave her mouth a full makeover and almost overnight her personality shifted. She started dressing differently, holding her head higher, talking more. Seeing this transformative difference in someone’s life so early on in my career is what made me want to create an even bigger impact in people’s lives through surgery.”

Of course The Kramers have passions that go beyond dental care. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Kramer spends most of his time in the mountains – hiking, biking, skiing, and bow hunting when it’s in season – with his two German Shepherds staying right beside him. Both John and Courtney have every intention of taking in everything Colorado Springs has to offer.

This is where the name of their dentist office comes into play. “We want people to have a bright white smile, but to us, it’s more than just teeth. We want people to experience a bright life, things that make them feel good.” And when you’re living in the most beautiful state in the country, it’s hard not to have a bright outlook on life… Although we might be a little biased about that.
